President Trump is calling for a serious reexamination and reform of our country's immigration vetting process. According to the Department of Homeland Security, about 85,000 Afghans settled in the US under Operation Allies welcome the same humanitarian parole program the suspect used to settle in Washington State before driving across the country to shoot at the National Guard. Trump announced that his administration is permanently pausing migration and re examining the status of every green card holder from these 19 countries of concern. This includes Afghanistan, but extends to countries like Cuba, Venezuela and Iran.

Two people were reportedly shot in what police are saying was an isolated incident at a shopping mall in San Jose, California. Black Friday Fox 2 San Francisco's Betty Yu reports from San Jose.
Betty Yu
All of this, of course, unfolding on Black Friday, one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Shoppers we spoke to tell us that this was a very chaotic and very scary scene. Videos circulating on social media show a stampede of people running past the Abercrombie store, people screaming, others taking cover. Other video from the Citizen app shows dozens of shoppers sheltering in a hallway and outside the mall, crowds gathering as multiple emergency responders arrived on scene. I spoke with several shoppers who said they heard multiple gunshots and people ran for their lives in whatever direction they could.

It's unclear if a suspect has been identified or if any arrests have been made. Global protests are expected today in solidarity with Palestinians. Fox's Jonathan Savage explains.

Secretary General Antonio Guterres emphasizing this past week that in his view, Palestinians have a right to dignity, to justice and to self determination. And these rights have been violated beyond comprehension. The ceasefire in Gaza has brought relief to many Palestinians, but their supporters will today express anger at their treatment with demonstrations in cities like New York, London and Berlin.
