It was a special election contest that drew national attention. After the win. Van Epps thanked President Trump.

One Republican accused the White House of shifting justifications for the strikes. Lawmakers believe the administration owes Congress answers. Bipartisan lawmakers will trigger a war powers vote if the US Carries out what they say is an unauthorized strike on Venezuela.

And a senior adviser to Russian President Vladimir Putin says the latest talks between Russia and the US on ending the war in Ukraine were productive, but a lot of work still remains. Putin meeting President Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff. February 2026 will mark four years since the war between Russia and Ukraine began. And the search for a missing Malaysia Airlines flight will resume Dec. 30, more than 11 years after the plane disappeared. Malaysia Airlines said the new search for flight MH370 will, will try and target deep sea areas that have not been previously examined. The plane with 239 people on board went down disappearing from radar in March of 2014. America's listening to Fox News.
