The deadline coming fast. I'm Ted Lindner, FOX News. That deadline to extend subsidies under the Affordable Care act growing closer as lawmakers wrestle on extending them or finding an alternative. Fox's Chad Pergrim with the latest from Capitol Hill.

Health care has vexed Congress for years. This week is no different. Senate Democrats plan a test vote Thursday on a bill to renew Obamacare money. That issue was central to the government shutdown, but most Republicans reject that Obamacare tax credits expire at the end of the year. There's a push from a coalition of bipartisan lawmakers for a separate plan. It would reform Obamacare. They say any package must have buy in from both sides. Republicans are using the occasion to torch Obamacare. But Republicans have struggled for years to find an alternative to Obamacare.
Ted Lindner
President Trump and congressional Republicans failed to dismantle the Affordable care Act in 2017 during the President's first term. The GOP has floated a proposal to extend the subsidies for more years while figuring out a broader alternative. But Democrats want a clean extension without any changes to the law. And American farmers will get some federal aid to make up for trade war losses. Fox's Jared Halpern has more on this from the White House.
Jared Halpern
Soybean and other crop growers will get a one time direct payment as part of $12 billion in agriculture aid announced by President Trump.

Our soybeans, I told this to President Xi. Our soybeans are more nutritious than competitors.
Jared Halpern
China has resumed soybean exports from the U.S. but President Trump says he'll sign off on additional relief for farmers if needed at the White House.
