The outage hotspots seem to be centered around the Portland, Oregon metro area, Chicago, Boston, New York and Washington, D.C. there's some outages there and then other Verizon outages appear to be popping up here in Los Angeles and then also in Phoenix and Atlanta. The Danish foreign minister, telling reporters the focus should be on how to address America's security concerns while also respecting Denmark's red lines. Actor Kiefer Sutherland facing charges after what police say was an attack on a rideshare driver just after midnight Monday in Hollywood. Sutherland accused of being drunk at the time.

In a later statement, the LAPD said Sutherland had, quote, entered a ride share vehicle, physically assaulted the driver, the victim, and made criminal threats toward the victim. Sutherland is best known, of course, for his role as Jack Bauer in 24. He was arrested at the scene and initially booked into the LAPD jail. The driver apparently was not bad injured and did not require medical treatment.
