Many airlines are already issuing travel waivers for flights that are traveling to or from airports that are going to be impacted by this winter storm. They these waivers are allowing passengers to change their flights without incurring additional fees.

At the largest airport in Minneapolis, police arresting anti ICE demonstrators after airport officials say they overstepped a protest permit affecting airline operations. One of the groups organizing that protest saying about 100 clergy were arrested. This as federal officials defend efforts to enforce immigration laws after school officials accused ICE of detaining a five year old boy and and using him as bait.

FBI Director Cash Patel said he was in Mexico on an unrelated trip when the FBI arrested Sinaloa cartel backed trafficker Ryan Wedding.

He went from an Olympic snowboarder to the largest narco trafficker in modern times. He is a modern day El Chapo. He is the modern day Pablo Escobar, and he thought he could evade justice.

Patel credited the Los Angeles Police Department as well as Mexican officials who helped in his capture. Wedding is accused of trafficking and money laundering, but he's also been charged with murdering a federal witness just before he was supposed to testify. The man accused of killing a health care executive on a New York City street now has a trial date in federal court.

U.S. district Judge Margare Margaret Garnett set jury selection in the trial of Luigi Mangione for September 8. She said the rest of the trial schedule, including opening statements and testimony, is contingent on whether she allows prosecutors to seek the death penalty. Garnett said if the death penalty is still in play, the next phase of the trial won't start until January 2027. If it isn't, opening statements will start on October 13th. Mangione is accused of killing UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson outside a Manhattan hotel on December 4th, 2024. He has pleaded not federal and state murder charges.

Fox's Tanya J. Powers the state trial has not been scheduled yet. Mangioni could face life in prison if convicted on those counts. Just getting reports that talks between Ukraine and Russia brokered by the US have wrapped up for the day in Abu Dhabi, expected to resume tomorrow. Believed to be the first trilateral peace talks following a marathon overnight session in Moscow between a US Envoy and Russia's president an hour to the close. On Wall street, stocks remain mixed.
