Police say a federal agent shot and killed a 37 year old Minneapolis man, marking the second fatal shooting by federal agent in the city this month. Fox's Garrett Tunney has more from the city.

What we don't know is what led up to that shooting. Video we've seen of what happened shows multiple federal agents wrestling with a man on the ground before these shots appear to have been fired. Governor Tim Wall says that he spoke with the White House and that he reiterated to President Trump that the federal government needs to get out of Minneapolis. This more than 3,000 agents that are here on the ground. Local officials have described it as terrorizing folks here in this city. And the federal government has said they here trying to enforce the law.

And a historic winter storm blasting the plains with snow and ice as about 245 million people across 40 states prepare for major disruptions. Heavy snow is falling in Oklahoma where Fox Weather's Mike Sodal has the latest.

We're going to end up with about a foot of snow here. A lot of people are just staying home, staying put because of the cold, because of the roads. When the temperatures this cold, even if we get a few peaks of sunshine, melting is going to be pretty much a no go today. And then after the snow ends tomorrow morning, the warning goes till 3pm it gets even colder. Monday morning we're going to be below zero. But this is going to stick around right on through the rest of the week. As far as melting goes, the storm.

The FBI nabs two of the top 10 most wanted fugitives, capturing both in Mexico within the past week. They include former Canadian Olympic snowboarder Ryan Wedding and Alejandro Castillo.

Both of these guys are major gets for the FBI. Let's start with Ryan Wedding, the former Olympian in California yesterday escorted by federal agents after surrendering to authorities in Mexico that's where the FBI tracked him down and where they believe he was hiding for over a decade. While running a massive drug trafficking operation, he went from shredding snow to allegedly shipping it from Colombia to the U.S. and Canada for years. FBI Director Cash Patel, he flew with Wedding from Mexico to Canada, where he announced his arrest. But he's not the only fugitive the FBI brought back to the US From Mexico. Yesterday, agents also captured Alejandro Castillo, wanted on murder charges in North Carolina.

House GOP leadership had to keep a vote open this week to wait for Congressman Wesley Hunt to cast the deciding vote, killing Democrats efforts to rein in President Trump's war powers. Hunt has missed numerous votes while campaigning for the Senate in Texas. Hunt did not take questions from reporters after votes this week. But a spokesman for his primary opponent, Senator John Cornyn, tells FOX News Hunt is refusing to fight for President Trump's agenda. Hunt has criticized Cornyn's time in office, saying his record on issues like amnesty don't match the president's agenda. In Washington, Ryan Schmelz, FOX News.
