That's expected to mean less than 200 daily cancellations for United as part of the planned phase in of capacity reductions. More than 20 people charged in California with scamming elderly people out of millions of dollars.

The FBI in San Diego says they arrested 19 people this week accused of operating an international elderly fraud, tech support and refund scam. About 500 victims so far have lost $40 million. 22 people are charged in all with conspiracy to commit wire or mail fraud or conspiracy to commit money laundering or both. The scam originated out of India and Dubai, but San Diego resident Victor Marion is accused of using his business, Mecca Barbershop, to recruit money launderers. The FBI says the foreign operators of the plan would fly recruits to Thailand for training on how to execute the scam, which involved calling victims claiming to be tech support from a company to offer a refund.
