Though he is not confirming reports that New Orleans could see a federal crackdown soon, Landry says he believes an effort to break up violent gangs in the city would be welcomed. But there were weekend protests in Charlotte, where Homeland Security confirms more than 100 arrests in the first two days of an enforcement operation. DHS says many of those people do have criminal records ranging from known gang membership to aggravated assaults, DUIs, shoplifting and more. Robert Drummond, 28 years old, is charged with murdering his girlfriend's sister, nephew, niece and her boyfriend and with kidnapping their baby found abandoned in a random front yard on the day of the shootings July 29. The victims bodies were found in the woods covered with tarps. Drummond was found after a week long manhunt and five people are charged with being accessories after the fact. Drummond is served prison time for robbing a convenience store and threatening to go after jurors. He was charged with the attempted murder of a prison guard behind bars and was out on bond at the time of the murders. Prosecutors say they will pursue the death penalty. Chris Foster, FOX News.
