This is a FOX News alert. National Guard troops shot in D.C. i'm Lisa Brady. Just getting reports of two National Guard troops shot about a mile from the White House. It is not clear whether those two Guard members were from the D.C. national Guard or had been sent from out of state as part of the president's deployment of the Guard to the Capitol to deal with crime. But again, two National Guard members shot in Washington, D.C. this happening about a mile from the White There is no confirmation yet on their conditions. Police so far calling this a critical incident. No other details yet. Vice President J.D. vance is visiting Kentucky's Fort Campbell, serving and dining with the troops there as President Trump pushes a plan to end the war in Ukraine.

Trump says his team is making tremendous progress and has directed special envoy Steve Witkoff to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. He will likely be accompanied by President Trump's son in law, Jared Kushner.

Airline catering workers protesting last night outside Los Angeles International Airport and just a short time ago inside that airport.
