The suspect has also been in the hospital, but we're just getting word. Charges have now been filed, including multiple murder, assault and gun counts. The attack has already led to an expanding review on immigration policies. The accused gunman had been allowed into the US as part of a refugee program after working with the CIA in Afghanistan, then was granted asylum earlier this year, about two months before President Trump imposed a travel ban on multiple countries, including Afghanistan. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem proposing to add more countries to the ban as ICE enforcement operations continue around the country.

Secretary Pete Hegsett says those strikes killing dozens of suspected cartel members are having a major impact on the flow of drugs. We've had a bit of a pause because it's hard to find boats to strike right now, which is the entire point. Hegsett says he stands by the combat decisions of those involved in a deadly strike. On September 2, the Washington Post reports a second strike was ordered after individuals survived an initial strike at the White House. Jared Halpern, Fox News, taking questions on.

That issue moments ago, Hegseth telling reporters he did not monitor the entire operation and did not personally see survivors in the water. But he and the president are defending the admiral who was authorized to make that strike. India's telecoms ministry ordering smartphone makers to install a government run cybersecurity app on all new devices within 90 days. It's also going to prevent users from deleting it. Advocates are expressing concerns about data privacy and user consent. A big deal in the fashion world is finalized.

Prada closes its purchase of rival versace for nearly $1.4 billion cash. The agreement was announced in April. They're both based in Milan, Italy, and there are European regulatory hurdles to clear. Versace has struggled since being acquired by Capri holdings in 2018. It was founded by Gianni Versace in 1978. His sister Donatella took over as creative director after his murder in 1997. She transitioned to a global ambassador role. This year, Versace new executive chairman is Lorenzo Bertelli, son of Prada Air and creative director Mutia Prada. She started the company's other brand new Fox's Chris Foster.
