A suspect's stunning confession. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. The man accused of planting bombs outside the RNC and DNC headquarters in Washington, D.C. the night before the 2021 Capitol riot had a lot to say to investigators. Fox's CB Cotton has more. The day after Brian Cole Jr. Made.

His first court appearance, sources have revealed that Cole admitted to planting the bombs, voiced support for President Trump and expressed doubts about the results of the 2020 election. A notable detail because both devices were planted on January 5, 2021, just one day before the Capitol riot and certification of Joe Biden's victory next month will mark five years since those pipe bombs were placed outside the DNC and RNC headquarters. Investigators said a fresh look at the original evidence tied Cole's cell phone to the area around both party headquarters the night of the crime. We're also told credit card receipts show show Cole purchased bomb making materials. Law enforcement experts say they're confident more charges are coming.
