Police in Rhode island have a person of interest in custody in relation to that mass shooting at Brown university that killed two and injured nine. Fox's Brian Yanes has more from Providence.

At 3:45 this morning, police found this person of interest and took him into custody at a hotel in Coventry, Rhode island. That's about 20 miles south of where we are here, just outside of Brown University in Providence. And Kash Patel, the FBI director, released photos and he wrote on X that that they were able to geolocate this person of interest using critical geolocation capabilities.

And Fox's Trey Yingst has more on the mass shooting in Australia that left 16 dead and more than two dozen injured. One of the gunmen also killed.

Two gunmen opened fire on Jews at a Hanukkah party along Bondi Beach. Australia's prime minister reacted to the event.

Saying this, this is a targeted attack on Jewish Australians on the first day of Hanukkah, which should be a day of joy, a celebration of faith, an act of evil, anti Semitism, terrorism.

Local police put out a statement saying two people are in police custody at Bondi beach now. They have updated this statement to say one of the attackers is dead. Another remains in police custody.

Zelensky will be joined by President Trump's special envoy, Steve Wyckoff and the president's son in law, Jared Kushner. The Trump administration is relying on different legal justification for seizing a Venezuelan oil tanker that strikes alleged narco terrorist traffickers, even though both moves are intended to ramp up pressure on Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro. And Venezuelan political activist Maria Corina Machado joined CBS Faces the Nation and says that she's going back to Venezuela despite the danger.

Of course, they are concerned as any other Venezuelan child that has their parents or relatives back in our country because the regime, as I said, has persecuted, tortured, killed, disappeared thousands of Venezuelans and and recently it has turned even more violent.

And she says her children are concerned about her going back. The White House says the seizure is meant to increase pressure on Venezuelan President Maduro, whom US Officials accuse of being a narco terrorist and leading a regime. And Connecticut is working to become a destination for holiday movie fans. Promoting its charming towns featured in films like Hallmark and A Lifetime.
