More strikes. I'm Ted Lindner, FOX News. The US Military announcing self defense strikes in Iran over the weekend. The attacks on Iranian radar and command and control sites over Saturday and Sunday in Guruk, Iran and Qeshm Island. US Fighter aircraft reportedly eliminating Iranian air defenses, ground control station and two one way attack drones. CENTCOM reporting the strikes were made in response to aggressive Iranian actions, including an attack on an American drone, an MQ1 drone over international waters. No American service members were harmed. Meantime, the Iranian president has reportedly asked to resign. Reports say that Pezich Khan told the supreme leader's office he's been shut out from major decision making. Times and Axios report that President Trump sent tougher terms to Iran for a peace deal in an effort to exert pressure and to speed up the process. But it's unclear, unclear what changes were made to the potential agreement. This as the Strait of Hormuz remains closed to ship traffic and the US Continues its blockade.

Meantime, in the state of New Jersey, the city of Newark stepping up measures to deal with violent protests at an ICE detention center. Fox's Steve Harrigan.

We've seen a week really of steady violence at night, usually after dark. We see preparations once again in effect for a possible fight between police and protesters. So it still looks cloudy as far as the security here goes. In free of this detention center. It is being controlled now by Newark police, not ICE agents. That's something the governor made clear just a short time ago. And we did see violence overnight. Once again, protesters refusing to disperse. They were hit with tear gas and stun grenades.

crews in Washington state have recovered the bodies of all nine missing workers after last week's chemical tank implosion at a paper mill. Mill a tank used in paper production ruptured and that killed 11 people at the Longview facility. Ukrainian President Zelensky says he's still waiting on a response to a letter he sent to Congress and to President Trump about the weapons his country needs as the war between Ukraine and Russia continues

over four years later, President Zelensky's letter is seeking help in bolstering air defenses, particularly anti ballistic missiles, of which he said Ukraine counts almost exclusively on America to provide. On CBS Face the Nation, Zelensky said delivery of weapons isn't keeping up with threats Ukraine faces.
