I asked him if he spoke directly with officials in Tehran. He said yes, similar people that he's been dealing with before trying to get this deal across the finish line. He says this cease fire has been the most violated cease fire in the history of the world.

Gates said, quote, epstein was working to use information about my infidelities in addition to many lies that he layered on to pressure me to re engage with him. Now. Gates said those efforts did not work and that he never victimized anyone and never witnessed nor had any indication that Epstein was engaged in ongoing criminal conduct.

Federal prosecutors made that announcement Wednesday as part of a plea agreement with Vance Bolter, who's also charged with the attempted murders of a state senator and his wife. Former state House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark and state Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette Hoffman were shot in their homes last June. The Hoffman survived. Prosecutors say Bolter was disguised as a cop and driving a fake squad car. He was captured near his home in rural Green Isle the next day. Bolter also faces state murder charges. The Department of Justice as a federal grand jury in Detroit has returned an indictment against eight people from Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois for their alleged roles in conspiracies to make threats against leaders at the University of Michigan, law enforcement and businesses including the Jewish Federation of Detroit over what prosecutors call the victims perceived financial support for Israel.
