A State Department warning. I'm Debra Valentine, Fox News. U.S. central Command says an eighth night of retaliatory strikes on Iran have concluded. The strikes follow Iran's drone and missile attack on a military base in Jordan which killed two U.S. troops, injured four, with one soldier remaining missing. Fox's Lucas Tomlinson says U.S. state Department has issued a new warning following the escalation.

The State Department has just issued a brand new worldwide call caution, urging Americans to think twice about any travel to the Middle East. Due to heightened tensions in the Middle east, the security environment remains complex with the potential for unseen escalation. And that's exactly what we saw in neighboring Jordan when Iran fired multiple intermediate range ballistic missiles that made it through. U.S. air defense systems hit a base in Jordan with dozens of U.S. air Force personnel at the base.

The total number of Americans killed in the region since the conflict began now stands at 16. The State Department issuing a warning to Americans following Iran's deadly escalation of the conflict in which those two U.S. service members were killed. Americans worldwide, especially those in the Middle east, are urged to exercise increased caution. Americans abroad are advised to follow the guidance and security alerts issued by the nearest US Embassy or consulate. New York City Mayor Zoran Mamdani in an interview with the New York Times suggesting he's toying with the idea of arresting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his upcoming visit to the UN citing war crimes in Gaza.

Texas is beginning the long road to recovery after deadly flash flooding tore through central and southern parts of the Lone Star State. Fox Weather's Brandi Campbell is in San Antonio with the latest.

Several cities, including Uvalde, Texas, received over 2ft of rain in a few days. Catastrophic flooding began as rivers, creeks and streams began rising, flooding roads, sending water into homes and businesses. Local leaders have expressed they were grateful for early warnings, saying those saved lives. And Uvalde, the Texas game wardens rescuing a flood victim by helicopter. Texas Governor Greg Abbott says the state rescued more than 270 people, but hundreds more were saved by local first responders.

Two people were killed after being swept away by floodwaters last week, while the flooding also caused a bridge to collapse in Uvalde County. Rescue efforts continue in Chongyang, China, after Friday's landslide killed at least eight people and left 34 others missing. At least 10 residential buildings were buried in the rock and soil.
