I'm Debra Valentine, Fox News Police and prosecutors in Berlin, Germany have identified a suspect in Saturday's deadly attack in which a driver plowed his van into a crowd during a pride parade as a 21 year old identified as Abdul B. Police said earlier that they had identified a suspect who has ties to Islamic groups in Berlin. Fox's Channel Painter Police in Berlin are

searching for a suspect who allegedly plowed a van through a crowd at an LGBTQ pride event. At least one person was killed, 16 others are hurt. Police say the suspect has ties to a local Islamic group and they believe it was terrorism. Hundreds of thousands of people were in Berlin for the celebration.

They said there's no active threat to the public. The incident is contained. But that doesn't change the fact that there was so many people in this mall when those shots were fired. They believe that there was around four shots fired, but they're not exactly sure how many shots yet, but they said at least four. And the people in that mall, I've Talked to probably 10 people tonight and every single one of them said it was just absolute panic in there.

One of the victims was taken to the hospital and went into surgery, but their condition is not yet known. Tropical Storm Genevieve strengthened into a hurricane Saturday in the Pacific Ocean southwest of Mexico. It's forecast to pick up even more steam and become a major hurricane in the coming days.
