One person is dead, three people injured after the roof of a Family Dollar store partially collapsed Sunday in Kansas City, Missouri. Fire department says the front facade of the building collapsed by the time they got there. 68 year old man was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others injured in the collapse. That includes a 50 year old woman who's hospitalized in critical condition. Officials trying to determine the cause of the collapse. Much of the eastern half of the US Is baking under a heat dome. National Weather Service meteorologist Frank Pereira says millions are dealing with triple digit daytime temperatures.

Those cover areas all the way from the upper Midwest, the Twin Cities, down to New Orleans and then back over to the Southeast, including all the way up into the Washington, D.C. area and up along even further to the north along the I95 corridor and into Boston.
