Stop the war or else. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. The Trump Putin summit in Alaska is less than two days away and the president is putting the Russian leader on notice. A reporter asks will Russia face any.
Will Kane
Consequences if Vladimir Putin does not agree to stop the war after your meeting on Friday?
Jared Halpern
There will be very severe consequences, although.
Carmen Roberts
The president did not say what those consequences might be. His comments came after attending a virtual meeting with European leaders, including Ukraine Ukrainian President Zelensky, who told the group that Putin is bluffing about seeking peace. Meantime, Israeli media report that Israel may send negotiators to Doha this week for meetings on a comprehensive cease fire agreement.
Benjamin Netanyahu
In Gaza, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu indicated the Israelis would no longer accept a partial agreement. Hamas has expressed similar sentiment in recent days. To return to negotiations, the Israeli leader wants all of the remaining hostages released at once as his army prepares plans to surround and eventually occupy Gaza City.

President Trump signed more executive orders yesterday, including one aimed at jump starting a pharmaceutical ingredients stockpile.
Hunter Biden
An executive order directs federal health agencies to begin filling a strategic pharmaceutical ingredients reserve, stockpiling the most commonly used ingredients used in essential medications. President Trump says the reserve will insulate the US from the concentration of foreign made drugs and will encourage more domestic production. He also says stockpiling the pharmaceutical ingredients is lower cost and has a longer shelf life than the finished drug products. The order calls for a six month supply of the ingredients needed to make critical drugs identified by emergency and response officials at the White House. Jared Halpern, FOX News first lady Melania.

Trump is threatening to sue Hunter Biden if he does not retract comments linking her to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. In an interview earlier this month, Hunter Biden claimed that Epstein introduced her to Donald Trump. The president and first lady have long said that a modeling agent introduced them in the late 1990s. A rare sighting this summer off the coast of Massachusetts.

The waters of New England heat up a little bit during the summertime, but are still way too cold for a manatee to survive. That's why scientists were surprised to hear that one was recently spotted in the area of Nantucket Sound. This animal was actually found beached a few days later on the tidal flats in Matapoise and people pushed it back into the water. Local scientists say they are standing by to act if necessary, as manatee can become sick or even die in the colder New England water. John Saucier, FOX News and Amazon announces.

Fox News Hourly Update: 4AM ET 08/14/2025 Newscast – Detailed Summary
Release Date: August 14, 2025
Carmen Roberts opens the newscast with a focus on the impending summit between former President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, scheduled to take place in Alaska within two days.
Trump's Stance on the War: Trump is exerting pressure on Putin to cease ongoing hostilities. When questioned about potential repercussions if Putin remains uncooperative, Jared Halpern responds at [00:21] by stating, “There will be very severe consequences,” though he refrains from specifying what those consequences might entail.
International Diplomatic Efforts: Following a virtual meeting with European leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who expressed skepticism about Putin's peace overtures, attention shifts to the Middle East. Israeli media reports indicate that Israel may dispatch negotiators to Doha this week to discuss a comprehensive ceasefire agreement. Benjamin Netanyahu emphasizes that Israel will no longer accept partial agreements, aligning with recent statements from Hamas. Netanyahu demands the immediate release of all remaining hostages as Israeli forces prepare to encircle and potentially occupy Gaza City ([00:45]).
Transitioning to domestic issues, Carmen Roberts highlights a significant development involving President Trump’s legislative intentions and local law enforcement updates.
Legislative Proposals: Trump plans to request Congress for long-term control over the DC Police force. He anticipates that other democratically led cities might follow suit by altering their laws in response to the deployment of the National Guard to support policing efforts in the capital ([01:05]).
Law Enforcement Incident: In Virginia, three sheriff's deputies sustained injuries during a gunfire exchange while executing a search warrant in Pittsylvania County, near the North Carolina border. The standoff concluded peacefully with the suspect, James Andrew Leonard, surrendering. Brian Haskins, the Commonwealth's attorney, confirms that Leonard will face serious charges, though specifics remain under consideration ([01:05]).
Economic Update: On Wall Street, both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq indices closed at record highs for the second consecutive day, indicating robust market performance ([01:05]).
Midway through the broadcast, Jared Halpern presents an advertisement segment focusing on entrepreneurial support services offered by LegalZoom.
Legal Services Overview: Halpern emphasizes the importance of creating and running a business, highlighting LegalZoom's comprehensive solutions for business registration, compliance, and protection. “LegalZoom has already helped launch, run and protect millions of businesses,” he states ([01:59]).
Access to Legal Expertise: LegalZoom provides access to independent attorneys and self-service tools, clarifying that it is not a law firm and does not offer legal advice directly, except through its subsidiary, LZ Legal Services LLC ([01:59]).
Returning to political news, Carmen Roberts reports on President Trump’s recent executive orders aimed at strengthening the United States' pharmaceutical infrastructure.
Strategic Pharmaceutical Reserve: Trump has signed an executive order directing federal health agencies to establish a strategic reserve of pharmaceutical ingredients. This move is intended to reduce dependence on foreign-made drugs and promote domestic production. Trump argues that stockpiling ingredients is more cost-effective and offers a longer shelf life compared to finished drug products ([02:31]).
Scope of the Reserve: The executive order mandates a six-month supply of essential pharmaceutical ingredients, as identified by emergency and response officials at the White House ([02:31]).
Carmen Roberts delves into a developing personal controversy involving President Trump, First Lady Melania, and Hunter Biden.
Allegations Against Melania Biden: President Trump threatens legal action against Hunter Biden unless he retracts comments linking Melania Biden to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. In a recent interview, Hunter Biden asserted that Epstein introduced Melania to Donald Trump, contradicting the consistent narrative from the president and first lady that a modeling agent facilitated their introduction in the late 1990s ([03:18]).
Incidental Wildlife News: On a lighter note, Will Kane shares an unusual environmental story about a manatee spotted off the coast of Massachusetts. Despite New England's typically cold waters being inhospitable for manatees, one was found beached in Nantucket Sound and subsequently returned to the water by locals. Scientists remain vigilant, prepared to assist as manatees are vulnerable to illness or death in colder climates ([03:39]).
Concluding the news segment, Carmen Roberts announces Amazon's expansion of its same-day delivery service to encompass thousands of perishable food items. This strategic move positions Amazon to more aggressively compete with rivals like Walmart Plus and Instacart, aiming to capture a larger share of the perishable goods market ([04:07]).
Will Kane wraps up the broadcast by promoting his live show available at noon Eastern, Monday through Thursday, on foxnews.com and the Fox News YouTube channel. He also encourages listeners to subscribe to the podcast for daily updates at foxnewspodcasts.com or through their preferred podcast platforms ([04:28]).
