The judge says that since 28 year old Harjinder Singh is an illegal immigrant, she believes he is a flight risk. The Indian national will remain in the St. Lucie County Jail in South Florida as as this case plays out. He's facing three counts of vehicular homicide and three counts of manslaughter after he allegedly made an illegal U turn on a Florida highway this month. Video shows a minivan crashing into the 18 wheeler Singh was allegedly driving, killing all three passengers inside. But there are still a lot of questions as to how Singh was hired as a truck driver in the first place, let alone obtained a commercial driver's license after the crash. He failed English and road sign tests.

The Trump administration is stopping visas for foreign truck drivers in response to this case. Accused illegal immigrant Kilmar Abrego Garcia may be deported to Uganda after being released Friday from a jail in Tennessee. Fox's Rebecca Castor has more.

He walked out of a Tennessee jail after court documents reveal he decided not to take a deal that would require him to plead guilty to human smuggling charges but then allow him to be deported to Costa Rica after his sentence. Now he's been threatened with removal to Uganda and has to report to immigration authorities on Monday. He was first taken into ICE custody in March due to his alleged ties to Ms. 13. He was mistakenly deported to El Salvador. He was brought back in June and jailed on those smuggling charges after a suspicious 2022 traffic stop resurfaced. He's now in his brother's custody in Maryland and has to wear a monitor.

A federal judge's ruling also prevents him from being deported to El Salvador. He must be given 72 hours notice. American is listening to Fox News.

Texas state lawmakers finally passed a new redistricting map that would allow Republicans more seats in Congress, but it's already facing legal challenges. Fox's Garrett Tenney has the story from Austin, Texas.

Democrats and outside groups have already been preparing lawsuits to challenge the new map, and they are asking the courts for an expedited hearing early next month so that they can try to get the map thrown out before the midterm elections. Democrats argue the new congressional districts violate the Voting Rights act if the new maps stand. One Democrat who won't be running for re election is Congressman Lloyd Doggett. Here he is reacting to the bill's passage.

Democrats and outside groups have indicated they are willing to take this legal fight all the way to the Supreme Court. But Republicans say they are not concerned. They believe they are on strong legal ground.

This comes as California will have its voter vote on a new congressional map that would give Democrats more seats in Congress. President Trump is reportedly getting frustrated after peace talks between Russia and Ukraine stalled and is implementing a deadline for the two warring countries to get together. Fox's Marianne Rafferty has more.

President Trump is giving Russia a two week deadline to start peace talks with Ukraine if they don't begin by then. The president is threatening to put more sanctions on Russia, but he also claims the US could simply walk away entirely. Russia's Foreign Ministry is demanding Ukraine accept some of Moscow's conditions or there will be no peace talks. The president met separately with both Ukraine and Russia's leaders earlier this month.

Ukraine, meanwhile, launched 10 drones towards Russia Sunday. They were all shot down. Debris from the drones caused a fire at a major commercial port and logistics hub located on the Baltic Sea in Russia. There were no reported casualties. I'm Debra Valentine. This is FOX News.
