The alleged assassin was booked into the Utah County Jail behind me. Our understanding is that he is still here. The actual crime scene not far from where I'm standing. But the suspect was taken into custody of a couple hundred miles south in the St. George area. He was arrested on suspicion of capital murder. The formal charges are expected to be announced on Tuesday when Robinson is scheduled to make his first appearance. Now, yesterday we watched a gray Dodge Challenger being towed away from the family home of the alleged killer in the St. George, Utah area. Authorities say Robinson drove a gray Challenger on and off the property of Utah Valley University when he assassinated Charlie Kirk. Prior to the car getting towed, we saw Utah police tape the hood of the car appearing to seal it.

Robinson could face federal charges and the death penalty. The Taliban says they've reached a deal with US Envoys about an exchange of prisoners, but the White House isn't commenting yet.

The Taliban's released photos of what they say are talks between their foreign minister and President Trump's special envoy for hostage response, Adam Bowler. They say it's part of an effort to normalize relations between the two countries. But the White House did not comment on the meeting. The Afghani government released a statement saying Bullard confirmed the two sides would undertake an exchange of detainees. And the Taliban also said talks were held on investment opportunities in Afghanistan. State Marco Rubio will meet with Israel's leaders about the war in Gaza, Middle east security and the US Commitment to Israeli security. News Police in North Georgia have arrested a man who is accused of shooting McKaysville Police Captain Brantley Worley in the face Friday. MCCF Michael early identified the suspect as Timothy Craig Ramsey. I spoke with Captain Worley's wife before this. He's still in critical condition at this time. Ramsey arrested after an hours long standoff. Washington State firefighters struggling to get the Lower Sugar Low fire in county under control at 0% contained. Been so many fires that have started. Most of them were lightning caused. Of course, we've had several that are human caused as well. And it is just so dry outside that extreme drought condition. And it stretches into parts of Wenatchee and even into Chelan very close to where that fire is burning, the Sugar Low fire. And we desperately need some rainfall. It's going to take a lot more rain though. We have some on the way, but we need days and days of it order to try to get some of these wildfires under control.
