A fiery speech to the United Nations. Fox News. I'm Sue Guzman. He called them out to their faces for failing to end wars, deal with global issues and especially to stop illegal immigration. It's time to end the failed experiment of open borders. You have to end it now. See, I can tell you I'm really good at this stuff. Your countries are going to hell. In America, we've taken bold action to swiftly shut down uncontrolled migration. He called on Hamas to release the remaining hostages. There are about roughly 48, perhaps only 20 who are still alive. And he criticized the the allies of America and the General assembly who have been pushing to establish a Palestinian state.

Ryan Ruth found guilty Tuesday of attempting to assassinate then presidential candidate Donald Trump on his Florida golf course last year, less than two months before the presidential election. Fox's Jonathan Sery reports a lot of.
Jonathan Sery
Drama inside the courtroom as the guilty verdict was read. U.S. marshals had to restrain Ryan Ruth as he attempted to stab himself in the neck using a pen. His daughter Sarah stood up in the courtroom and shouted, this is not fair. This is all rigged. And cursed at camera crews as she left. The courthouse can all go to hell.
Eric Shawn
It's all Yalls fault.
Sue Guzman
Lies, spreading lies about my father.

Following the verdict President Trump posted on social media. The trial was meticulously handled and I would like to thank the judge and jury for their time, professionalism and patience. This was an evil man with an evil intention, and they caught him.

Ruth will be sentenced in December. President Trump has canceled a meeting for this week with top Democrat leaders to try to reach an agreement to prevent a partial government shutdown. More from fox's Chad Pergram.

Democrats want subsidies for Obamacare and a restoration of dollars for public broadcasting. Democrats plan to be in Washington next week even if House Republicans are absent. President Trump declared that Democratic demands were, quote, ridiculous. He accused Democrats of wanting to, quote, force taxpayers to fund transgender surgery for minors. Republicans find it ironic that Democrats argued against shutdowns for years, but now some Democrats believe that shutting down is a better option. The Senate blocked the House funding bill last week. It's about the math. The bill needs 60 yeas to clear a filibuster. That entails help from Democrats, and that's why Republicans are blaming them for a possible shutdown.

And the deadline to reach a deal is September 30th. I'm Sue Guzman. This is FOX News.
