Moss announcing that they agreed to at least part of Trump's plan, including the release of Israeli hostages. But Hamas did not appear to agree to other key demands of the plan, like disarmament and not participating in Gaza's future government. President Trump called on Israel to, quote, stop the bombing of Gaza so that we can get the hostages out safely and quickly. As a result, Israel is reportedly shifting to defensive operations only in the Gaza Strip. Israeli media also reporting that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office is preparing for immediate release of those hostages.

Gaza City residents accused accuse Israel of continuing to strike the city after the announcement. Hamas officials suggested they needed to reach a unanimous Palestinian stance before other parts of the peace deal can be agreed to. The federal government shutdown continuing into the weekend.

The Senate left town for the weekend without a deal to reopen the government. And the House has canceled votes for the next week, frustrating Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who wants Republicans to negotiate. Johnson and House Republicans care more about protecting the Epstein files than protecting the American people. Republicans, though, think the deal on the table is a good one. A clean extension of government funding until late November and say Democrats are pandering to their left flank. But Democrats want an extension of Affordable Care act tax subsidies and restrictions on President Trump's ability to cut spending already approved by Congress. Sean Diddy Combs sentenced to more than four years in prison. Fox's CB Cotton has more from the federal courthouse in Manhattan.
Dana Perino
Music entrepreneur Sean Diddy Combs has been sentenced to four years and two months in prison for his conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. Multiple defense attorneys pleaded for leniency, asking for a sentence that would have let Diddy walk soon on time served. They pointed to Diddy's tough childhood, his addiction to painkillers after surgery and his influence in music and culture. But prosecutors doubled down and asked the judge for a stiff sentence of 11 years. They pointed to trial evidence and witness testimony, calling this a case about a man who did horrible things for his own gratification. Diddy does have the option to appeal.

A judge has sentenced Nicholas Roski, the person who attempted to assassinate Supreme Court Justice Brett KAVANAUGH, to just eight years in prison. Prosecutors wanted 30 years. Attorney General Pam Bondi says the Department of Justice will appeal the sentence due to the short length of it. I'm Debra Valentine. This is FOX News.
