President Trump needs leverage, and where he's finding that leverage is Kharg island, which is responsible for 96% of Iran's oil exports. And right now, President Trump isn't bombing Iran's oil facilities on the island, but he did take out the military targets. The statement from President Trump on Truth Social announcing his actions, he said, quote, the United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the history of the Middle east and totally obliterated every military target on Iran's crown jewel, Kharg Island. I have chosen not to wipe out the oil infrastructure on the island. However, should Iran or anyone else do anything to interfere with the free and safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision.

these two new executive orders that the president issued. One is aimed at cutting red tape for home construction. The other loosens regulations for home loans and makes it easier for small community banks to give mortgages. The housing market has remained stubbornly sluggish. But on the bright side, existing home sales increased by 1.7% in February. For the national association of Realtors, the president's executive order has come as Congress works to address housing as well. The Senate this week passed the most comprehensive housing package in in decades. It boosts homebuilding, provides more financial support for housing and limits big investors from buying single family homes.
