Peace talks in Pakistan. I'm Kathleen Maloney, FOX News. United States and Iranian negotiators meeting face to face. Fox's Lucas Tomlinson with the details.

The stakes are high for Vice President Vance. The biggest assignment of his career trying to end the six week old war with Iran as technical talks are now underway here in Islamabad to try to find an off ramp for both parties. The Strait of Hormuz and the future of Iran's nuclear talks, issues the White House wants to solve here. And the sizable Iranian delegation arrived led by a its parliament speaker, Mohammed Galloba. He once commanded Iran's air force, which no longer exists. According to the Pentagon, President Trump outlined his goals for the talks yesterday.

victims, an 84 year old man, sustained significant lacerations to the head and the face on the 7 train platform. Another, a 65 year old man sustained similar injuries as well as an open skull plaque plaque fracture on the 4, 5, 6 platform. And a third victim suffered a laceration to the shoulder.

The alleged slasher was taken to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. A Rush County, Indiana woman sentenced to 16 years behind bars after she left her young child to die alone inside a burning house last year. Kirsten Bowers has been sentenced to 30 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections. America is listening to FOX News. The mystery deepens as a woman vanished in the Bahamas and police still have her husband Brian Hooker in custody. FOX Madison Scorpiono with the latest.

Brian's attorney says he is very emotional about all this. She says Brian wants Lynette to be recovered and he, quote, feels hopeless without her. But both Lynette's mother and daughter are questioning whether foul play was involved. Yesterday on the Drop Dead Serious podcast, Lynette's mother tells Ashley Banfield her daughter was preparing to leave Brian. She says the two had a lot of good times, a lot of bad times. She claims the two had a rocky 25 year marriage and there were incidents of domestic violence back in 2015. Lynette spent the night in jail after police responded to a physical fight between the couple. The police report states the fight led to Brian's face bloodied and that Lynette claims Brian hit her in the forehead. But Brian's attorney says he categorically denies
