You can see people using the emergency evacuation slides and you can also get a glimpse of the aircraft's engine damaged after the collision. This all happened at around 11:19 mountain time last night. Airport officials say that two minutes after the person got over the airport perimeter fence, they made it out onto the Runway and into the path of Frontier Flight 4345, which was taking off for Los Angeles. According to Frontier, smoke was reported in the cabin and the pilots aborted takeoff. Passengers were then evacuated via slides as a matter of precaution. The Airbus A321 was carrying 224 passengers and seven crew members. The airport examined the fence line and found it to be intact. Denver International says the person who was struck and killed is not believed to be an employee of the airport, nor have they been identified.
