A former Wisconsin judge who obstructed ICE agents last year will not get a new trial and her conviction will not be tossed. That ruling handed down today by a federal judge.

U.S. district Judge Lynn Adelman, for a second time denying former Milwaukee County Judge Hannah Dugan's request to either have her verdict overturned or receive a new trial. After she was convicted by a jury last year of obstructing ICE agents who were trying to take a criminal illegal immigrant who was in her court on a battery case into custody, she helped sneak the now deported illegal immigrant out of a private door. Agents gave chase and arrested him. Dugan now faces sentencing, which could include probation up to five years in prison. Her legal team has indicated they plan to appeal. Jeff Manasso, FOX News.

Do as I say, not as I do. A new study published in the Journal of the American Medical association finds parents may look at screens at the dinner table more often than their kids.

The study looked at the behaviors of 357 parents and the same number of kids. The average age of the kids was about six and a half. Most used some form of media at the dinner table, but more than three quarters of parents did, compared to just over two thirds of kids. The study found 142 parents reported being on their phones for kids 43 watched content on a small screen device. Another 39 kids were said to have played a handheld game. Researchers wrote they wanted to highlight interruptions caused by electronic devices that result in children receiving less attention and parental guidance than they should.
