This meant that if any one of the nearly 700 federal judges disagreed with the policy of a duly elected president of the United States, he or she could block that policy from going into effect or at least delay it for many years. Tied up in the court system, he.

And the high court rules parents in Maryland can up their children out of LGBTQ teachings in public schools.

This one said those parents in a local district here outside of D.C. who were trying to opt out of lessons that had books that were in conflict with their religious faith. The school district used to let them, but so many people opted out that the school district said it's just too cumbersome. We can't do it. Well, Justice Alito, writing for the majority, said these parents get a preliminary injunction. He says the board has to notify them in advance whenever any of these books in question or any other similar book is to be used in any way and to allow them to have their kids to be excused if they want. In the dissent from Justice Sotomayor, she said exposure to new ideas has always been a vital part of that project until now. So she feels like kids should get exposed to things regardless of what their parents think.

Still no consensus among Republicans on President Trump's one big, beautiful bill. Fox's Chad Pergrim on Capitol Hill.
Chad Pergram
Republicans insist they can wrap this up soon, but they don't have a finalized bill. Everything is frozen until they update the text. GOP senators are reluctant to even vote yes, launching debate on the bill. That's because it's still not complete. The House will likely give members 48 to come back to Washington once the Senate votes. House conservatives are jumping mad at the Senate. They believe the Senate would make the bill better. Instead, they suspect the bill may be worse. House Republicans may balk at the Senate bill. They don't like getting jammed by the Senate with a take it or leave it proposition. The Senate could vote by Monday morning.

President Trump says he's determined to get the bill passed as soon as possible, saying no one goes on vacation until it's done. One of the current hang ups how Medicaid will be funded by the bill. Iran's new public assessment of damage from Operation Midnight Hammer is excessive and serious, showing a rift with the ayatollah, who reported not much damage done. And Iran's regime is not committing to any discussions with the U.S. despite attempts by other Middle Eastern nations to restart the talks, Fox's Evan Brown reports.

Iran's foreign minister says future negotiations with the United States regarding Iran's nuclear developments will be complicated following the US Airstrikes on Iran's three key nuclear facilities helping to bring Israel's war with Iran to a close. Both Israel and the US had insisted Iran's development of nuclear weapons had progressed too far. Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was seen on a video telling Iranians they delivered crushing blows to both the Israelis and the US Military base in Qatar. Though evidence suggests that not to be true, President Trump suggested both sides could meet next week. EBEN brown, FOX News and I'm Jack.

Majority Opinion:
Justice Alito [01:14]: "These parents get a preliminary injunction. He says the board has to notify them in advance whenever any of these books in question or any other similar book is to be used in any way and to allow them to have their kids to be excused if they want."
Dissenting Opinion:
Justice Sotomayor [01:14]: "Exposure to new ideas has always been a vital part of that project until now. So she feels like kids should get exposed to things regardless of what their parents think."

The House is expected to delay further action until the Senate completes its review, with a potential vote anticipated by Monday morning.
Evan Brown reported on the strained relations between the United States and Iran following the military operation known as Operation Midnight Hammer. Iran's foreign minister acknowledged significant yet disputed damage from the operation, contravening statements made by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
