We're talking about extreme heat and really high dew point temperatures. You combine those two numbers and that's a feels like temperature spots are getting up in the mid-90s, upper-90s and some cases running up to 100 degrees. No surprise when we're talking about that kind of heat that we have all sorts of advisories, watches and warnings on the board across the southeast and then stretching back into portions of the central part of the country. Now before it's all said and done today, some of these temperatures, like the high spot on the board here, 113 in Wilmington, but a lot of spots climbing up into triple digits. It is going to be really extreme and it's not going to break. Unfortunately, the next couple of days, this big area of high pressure is going to settle a little further back off towards the west and we are going to be stuck in this pattern here for several days.
