Yesterday the president spoke with the crown prince about the concerns of escalation in the region. And President Trump posted on Truth Social writing in part, quote, we have just been asked by Iran and other Middle Eastern countries to hold off any attack in the parameters of a deal that has been agreed to. That would include the immediate, complete and total reopening of the Hormuz Strait and an end to Iran's nuclear threat. So no deal has been reached yet. Democrats today say that there is no clear plan out of this conflict, calling the back and forth escalatory.

We've seen pauses like this before only to have the fighting resume because there was no agreement. We're waiting to learn more about yesterday's fatal shooting at an In N Out burger in Twin Falls, Idaho. Three people died.

Cell phone videos captured dozens of employees running from the building Saturday afternoon and the possible suspect carrying a long rif. The police chief called it a chaotic scene but has not yet identified the suspect or a potential motive.

The suspected shooter in this incident is deceased. He was nearby on the scene. There we are working, trying to ascertain his identity and the motivations behind that.

At least 14 are dead in northwest Pakistan, at least five of them police officers after a suicide bomber struck an anti military rally. More than two dozen were hurt. Demonstrators gathered near a police station chanting anti militant slogans and demanding peace. The area was once a stronghold of Islamic militants since driven out by the Pakistani military. A closely watched Democratic primary in Michigan, which might help determine the tone of the Democratic Party. Here's fox's Rich Edson.

In Detroit, progressive Abdul Al Said has focused his campaign on abolishing ice, Medicare for all, stricter regulations of data centers and criticism of Israel and AIPAC spending to help elect Congresswoman Haley Stevens. El Sayed calling her the least capable candidate in the country. He also suggested she wants US Money in a foreign government. It's an apparent criticism of defensive aid to Israel. She responded that everyone in America understands El Sayed wants to blame all his problems on Jewish Americans and and that she's been supportive of long term peace between Palestinians and Israelis. She also maintains Al Said's rhetoric, positions and associations will cost Democrats a Senate seat.

The Democratic nominee will face off against Republican Representative Mike Rogers. That race could determine which party controls the Senate. Washington Governor Bob Ferguson has declared a state of emergency statewide. Fast spreading wildfires driven by strong winds of scorched at least 3,500 acres and forced thousands of people to evacuate around Spokane. The National Weather Service issued a Washington's first ever particularly dangerous situation red flag warning parts of central and eastern Washington, citing extreme fire weather conditions. The firefighting crews from 14 states and Australia, they all joined the response. Residents are prohibited from burning leaves and as we said, this is being watched very, very closely.
