Vance had a previously scheduled event in North Carolina. The Texas governor posting earlier that the shooting will not slow the arrest, detention and deportation of illegal immigrants, emphasizing the state's cooperation with ice. An effort to force states to cooperate with immigration enforcement has just been blocked by a federal judge ruling it's unconstitutional and unlawful to make grant funding for emergency aid contingent on cooperation. The judge siding with 20 Democrat led states and D.C. which sued in May. President Trump has a 21 point plan for Mideast peace and envoy Steve Witkoff says it's been presented to some leaders at the UN this week. Also telling reporters the US Is hopeful of announcing some sort of breakthrough on the war in Gaza in the coming days. The Dow down 171 at the bell. America is listening to Fox News.
