Fox's Jared Halpern at the White House where that meeting has just wrapped up. Zelensky also suggesting the US Might want access to Ukraine's supply of drones. Hamas just announcing plans to hand over the remains of another hostage today after using bulldozers to expand the search in Gaza. The group also reopened, affirming commitment to the terms of a ceasefire deal. Nine hostages bodies have been returned in recent days out of 28 believed to be dead, including two Americans. President Trump still plans to meet with China's president on the sidelines of an upcoming summit in South Korea. He's been threatening higher tariffs and recently said he saw no reason to meet after China's new export controls on rare earth minerals, but now says he thinks they're getting along well with China and will be able to make a deal. I think that things have de escalated. We hope that China will show the respect that we have shown them. And I am confident that President Trump, because of his relationship with President Xi, will be able to get things back on a good course.

More projects on the chopping block as a government shutdown continues.

Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vogt says the Army Corps of Engineers will immediately begin pausing over $11 billion in lower priority projects and considering them for cancellation because of the government shutdown. The projects, according to vote, will be in New York, Boston, San Francisco and Baltimore, notably states run by Democrats, which has led to outrage from Democrats who allege the administration is playing politics. House Armed Services Committee Chair Mike Rogers says the National Nuclear Security Administration, the top nuclear weapons agency, plans to furlough most of its staff amid the shutdown. And Republicans still blame each other for the shutdown, Democrats pushing for an extension of Obamacare tax credits, Republicans saying that's not all Democrats and that policy discussions can happen after the shutdown has ended. Former national security adviser John Bolton pleads not guilty to multiple counts of mishandling classified information, appearing in federal court in Maryland after being indicted yesterday in a case he calls an abuse of power. Britain's Prince Andrew is giving up his royal titles, including the Duke of York, after renewed allegations in a new book.

An upcoming memoir by Virginia Giuffre, who committed suicide this year, contains more details about her allegations that she was trafficked and by Jeffrey Epstein as a teenager to Prince Andrew when she was 17. While the prince has already stepped away from public life, he says the king agrees he must go a step further and no longer use his title or the honors conferred upon him. However, he still denies any wrongdoing. Giuffre sued Andrew four years ago, and at that time he said he could not recall ever having met her, though there is a famous photo of the two from 24 years ago with Epstein's girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell, in the background.
