On Friday, two federal judges ruled the Trump administration must find a way to continue to pay for SNAP using emergency reserve funds. President Donald Trump says he has instructed executive branch lawyers to ask the court to clarify how the federal government can legally fund SNAP as soon as possible. He wrote on Truth Social, quote, it is already delayed enough due to the Democrats keeping the government closed through the monthly payment days. And even if we get immediate guidance, it will unfortunately be delayed while states get the money out. If we are given the appropriate legal direction by the court, it will be my honor to provide the funding just like I did with military and law enforcement pay.

New York's Governor Kathy Hochul has declared a state of emergency in response to the cutoff of the food assistance benefits. Israel says the Red Cross has received the remains of three hostages in Gaza and they're being handed over to Israel's military. Hamas claiming in a statement earlier the remains were found today in a tunnel in southern Gaza. Since the ceasefire in Gaza took effect October 10, Palestinian militants have released the remains of 17 hostages, 17 of them remaining in Gaza. Militants have released one or two bodies every few days. Israel urging faster progress and says in some cases the remains they've received weren't of any hostage. Hamas has said the work has been complicated by the widespread devastation there. President Trump says China's President Xi has given him assurances Beijing will take no action toward its long standing goal of unifying Taiwan with mainland China. As long as Mr. Trump is in.

Attempted murder British Transport Police Superintendent John Loveless, one of the suspects, the 35 year old has now been released. Police say he wasn't involved. Four of the 10 victims have been able to leave the hospital. Two people remain in life threatening condition. Motive behind the attacks hasn't been shared yet. Is sending a team to investigate a safety breach between a Southwest Airlines 737 and a Eurocopter helicopter. Both aircraft were approaching Cleveland International Airport last Wednesday when they came closer than the minimum safe distance. The pilot of the Southwest jet aborted the landing before landing safely a short time later. Back in January, a mid air collision between an American Airlines regional jet and and a US army helicopter killed 67 people near Reagan National Airport outside Washington. Because of the government shutdown, nearly 13,000 air traffic controllers have been working without pay and many airports are experiencing staffing shortages. PAM Puso, FOX News.

For the second day in a row, AAA says the national average for a gallon of gasoline is just under $3.04. That's 12 cents less than it was a month ago. This time, drivers in Mono, California are still paying the most, $5.81 a gallon, but that's down 4 cents from yesterday. Lowest average is in Hale County, Texas, where he can fill up for just $2.37 a gallon. I'm Jack Callahan and this is FOX News.
