The immigration crackdown continues. I'm Ted Lindner, fox news. Almost 200 alleged illegal immigrants have reportedly been arrested in Charlotte as the Trump administration's immigration crackdown rolls on, but not without some resistance. Fox's Matt Finn DHS says wild video.
Matt Finn
Shows a man driving a large white van towards law enforcement in Charlotte as they were doing an immigration operation. It nearly strikes agents, then takes officers on a high speed chase deep. DHS says at one point the driver, a US Citizen who had a firearm in that van rammed into law enforcement trying to escape. One officer was injured. The driver is criminally charged. And so called whistle warriors clashing with agents and blowing their whistles at agents while yelling obscenities and taunting the agents. People against the immigration raids in Charlotte say they're being terrorized and targeted for their skin color.

This is the House is planning a vote today on whether to release the remaining files on Jeffrey Epstein, Kentucky Congressman and House Oversight Chairman James James Comer on fox.
James Comer
They've released what they can legally release. There's grand jury testimony and the Trump administration asked the judge to release that grand jury testimony and the judge, who was an Obama appointee rejected the the Trump Department of Justice request to release the grand jury testimony. So a judge has to issue that.

Comer on Fox's the Ingram Angle Monday night we got more from Fox's David Spunt.
David Spunt
U.S. attorney Jay Clayton is probing Epstein's ties to former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers and President Bill Clinton. An aide for the former president posted bill Clinton did nothing and knew nothing. The rest is noise meant to distract from election losses, backfiring, shutdowns and who knows what else. President Trump's directive for the DOJ to open another Epstein related probe is a 180 degree pivot. Critics say the president's push involving the DOJ illustrates revenge involving the president's perceived political enemy.

President Trump delivering remarks about affordability. At the McDonald's Impact Summit, the president discussed how American citizens are in a much better position due to lowering inflation, in part due to the trillions of dollars America is raking in under his administration.

We have over $17 trillion being invested in our country in nine months. It's now just about ready to crack 18 and by the end of one year we will have about 20 to 21 trillion dollars invested in our country.
Ted Lindner
During the event, President Trump also gave praise to the company McDonald's and boasts that he's fighting every single day for the little guy to help small businesses. New York City's Mayor Alex Zoram Mamdani, confirming on Monday he's planning to meet with President Trump. Fox 5 in New York City's Morgan MacKay has more.
Morgan MacKay
Mayor elect Zoramdani says it was his team that reached out to President Donald Trump to set up this meeting, says he's fulfilling a campaign promise that he would sit down with any one to discuss affordability now. Mamdani didn't say if the two have picked out a day for when they could meet. President Trump also told reporters that he has agreed to meet with Mamdani in Washington, D.C. saying that he wants to see everything work out well for New York. Mamdani, serving meals at a food pantry in the Bronx, says both he and the president ran on a promise of lowering costs and says his affordability message is what he hopes to bring to the president's attention when they need to talk.
Ted Lindner
President Trump said it's the Democrats who made life unaffordable in part by opening the door to tens of millions of illegals that flooded into the country under President Biden. And the Trump administration's blueprint to secure and govern Gaza has won strong approval at the U.N. the U.S. proposal authorizes an international stabilization force to provide security in Gaza and approves a transitional authority to be overseen by President Trump. It also envisions a possible future path to an independent Palestinian state. The boat endorses President Trump's 20 point ceasefire plan. I'm Ted Lindner. This is Fox News.
