President Trump is pressuring Ukraine to accept the US and Russia backed peace plan by Thanksgiving.

The Trump backed 28 point deal calls for Ukraine to cede territory, cut its military and never join NATO, something Russian leader Vladimir Putin appeared to cautiously welcome, saying it would only lay the groundwork for a final deal. While the proposal would also provide security guarantees for Ukraine, including a NATO like model committing allies to help defend Ukraine in a future attack, President Volodymyr Zelensky says his country faces a stark choice between standing up for its sovereignty and preserving the American support it needs.

An electrical fire broke out just before 6:40. The ship is called the One Henry Hudson. It is a massive 1100 foot ship that, according to Vessel Finder, arrived in Los Angeles from Tokyo on Wednesday. Authorities believe that several of the containers have hazardous materials inside. The LAFD say there were 23 crew members on board when the fire broke out, but everybody has been found and everyone has been safely assisted off of the ship and thankfully no injuries have been reported. Louisiana Mayor Karen Bass she has posted on X that the city is monitoring this fire. They're also going to keep an eye on the air quality.
