Trump announced that his administration is permanently pausing migration and re examining the status of every green card holder from these 19 countries of concern. All of this, of course, unfolding on Black Friday, one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Shoppers we spoke to tell us that this was a very chaotic and very scary scene. Videos circulating on social media show a stampede of people running past the Abercrombie store. People screaming, others taking cover. Other video from the Citizen app shows dozens of shoppers sheltering in a hallway and outside the mall, crowds gathering as multiple emergency responders arrived on scene. I spoke with several shoppers who said they heard multiple gunshots and people ran for their lives in whatever direction they could.
