Earlier this year, the Texas legislature approved a new congressional map backed by President Trump that aims to give Republicans up to five additional seats in the U.S. house. A panel of three federal judges recently blocked the map's use, finding the boundaries are likely unconstitutional because they were drawn based on race. Texas officials appealing disputing this. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito temporarily reinstated the map. The full Supreme Court now moving to maintain the order while it reviews the case. The decision comes ahead of Monday's deadline to file for candidacy in the U.S. house at Texas primary elections in March. Kristen Goodwin, FOX News.

California Democratic leaders have taken steps to counter the Republican effort in Texas. Other states are also moving to alter their congressional districts. And there's been another drug boat strike in the Caribbean. U.S. southern Command says that War Secretary Pete Hegseth directed the joint task force Southern Spear to conduct the lethal kinetic strike on a vessel in international waters operated by a designated terrorist organization. Four male narco terrorists aboard the vessel were killed, bringing the number of deaths connected to these strikes to 86. The FBI has arrested a man suspected to have planted pipe bombs outside the RNC and DNC headquarters in January of 2021. Fox. The 2026 World cup draw will happen at noon Eastern at the Kennedy center in Washington, D.C. the final draw will determine the match schedule, so after the draw, we'll know who plays where. FIFA President Gianni Infantino speaking to Fox and friends. Canada, the U.S. and Mexico are the host countries. Legendary athletes Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Aaron Judge and Shaquille o' Neal will all take part. Comedian Kevin Hart and model Heidi Klum will host the event. The expanded 48 team tournament begins on June 11 and ends on July 19. FIFA will also hand out its inaugural peace prize, which the federation says will recognize exceptional actions for peace. More. Governor Gavin Newsom says he's renewing a call for $33.9 billion in disaster recovery support. He says the White House has failed to advance any recovery proposals since California's first formal request back in February, though the governor has noted progress has been made. He says federal, state and local partners have completed debris removal process record time. The first West Altadena home rebuilt after the deadly Eden fire will receive its first certificate of occupancy, but many residents are still very frustrated by the slow rebuilding.

Process. The wildfires killed 31 people in LA county and destroyed thousands of structures. And President Trump said to release an update on the peace plan in Gaza. And according to Axios, those details will be announced before the holidays.
