Ilhan Omar
One of the reasons why he sent this paramilitary occupation into our state, why this level of terror is taking place, why we are seeing the kind of chaos that is ensuing, is because he does want to invoke the Insurrection Act.
Lisa Brady
President Trump telling reporters this about the Insurrection act, which could allow sending in troops.
Donald Trump
I don't think there's any reason right now to use it, but if I needed it, I'd use it. It's very powerful.

The White House says ICE agents are targeting criminals and enforcing immigration laws and that Democrat rhetoric is fueling violent confrontations. The national guard mission in D.C. will apparently be extended until the end of this year. A memo signed by the army secretary and reviewed by the Associated Press says conditions warrant an extension, citing ongoing efforts to restore law and order. Two National Guard troops were shot in D.C. in November, killing one. Defense attorneys for accused Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robertson argue prosecutors should be disqualified after learning a family member of one was in the crowd when Kirk was shot at Utah Valley University. But Utah county prosecutor Ryan McBride hinting at possible ulterior motives for that motion.
Ryan McBride
There's a lot of case law talks about how it can be a tactic to try and remove cases from one prosecutor's authority to find a more lenient prosecutor, find a more favorable prosecuting authority. That's not going to seek, for example, in this case, the death penalty.
Lisa Brady
The defense denies it's a tactic and says different prosecutors should represent the state. While the question of a possible conflict of interest is settled, America is listening to FOX News.

Court records show a grand jury in Columbus, Ohio indicted Dr. Michael McKee for the shooting deaths of his ex wife and her dentist husband in their home last month. The 39 year old vascular surgeon from Chicago faces multiple charges including aggravated murder for the deaths of Monica Tepe and Dr. Spencer Tepe. McKee's arrest last weekend attracted national attention, capping off nearly two weeks of speculation surrounding the mysterious killings. If convicted, McKee could get life in prison without parole. A cease and desist letter from California attorney general to Elon Musk's Xai demanding the company stop the creation and distribution of non consensual sexualized imagery generated through its Grok AI chatbot, an issue that has also prompted investigations in other countries. The letter demands immediate action. Musk has said recently the changes were being made. Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair, the mother of one of Musk's 14 children, is suing XAI over deepfake pictures of her. She also accuses the company of retaliating against her complaints by demonetizing her ex social media account.
Chris Foster
XAI has filed a countersuit, arguing St. Clair violated its terms of service by suing in New York instead of Texas as specified in those terms. Musk announced Monday he'd be filing for full custody of his 1 year old son with St. Clair after she apologized for past attacks on transgenderism.

Fox's Chris Foster Google now asking a judge to postpone making the company share data with rivals while the company challenges a ruling that its online search engine has an illegal monopoly. Context: Anti-ICE demonstrations continue in the Twin Cities, with a field hearing by Democratic members of Congress.
Congresswoman Ilhan Omar sharply criticizes President Trump regarding federal enforcement actions, alleging a political motive linked to the Insurrection Act.
"One of the reasons why he sent this paramilitary occupation into our state, why this level of terror is taking place, why we are seeing the kind of chaos that is ensuing, is because he does want to invoke the Insurrection Act."
– Ilhan Omar ([00:17])
President Trump downplays the likelihood of invoking the Act but leaves the door open:
"I don't think there's any reason right now to use it, but if I needed it, I'd use it. It's very powerful."
– Donald Trump ([00:39])
White House Response: Says ICE is targeting criminals and blames Democratic rhetoric for “fueling violent confrontations.”

[01:10–01:47]
Defense attorneys for Tyler Robertson (accused of killing Charlie Kirk) attempt to disqualify the prosecution, citing a prosecutor’s family member was in the crowd during the shooting.
Utah County Prosecutor Ryan McBride questions the motive for this motion:
"There's a lot of case law talks about how it can be a tactic to try and remove cases from one prosecutor's authority to find a more lenient prosecutor, find a more favorable prosecuting authority. That's not going to seek, for example, in this case, the death penalty."
– Ryan McBride ([01:30])
Defense refutes this is just a tactic, calls for alternate prosecution until conflict-of-interest issues are resolved.

[02:53–03:36]
California Attorney General issues a cease and desist to XAI (a Musk company), demanding it stop producing/disseminating non-consensual sexualized imagery via its Grok AI chatbot—a concern also under international investigation.
Ashley St. Clair (conservative influencer and Musk’s child’s mother) sues XAI both for deepfake images and retaliation via demonetization of her X account.
XAI countersuit: Company claims St. Clair violated terms of service by suing in New York instead of Texas, the designated forum.
"Musk announced Monday he'd be filing for full custody of his 1 year old son with St. Clair after she apologized for past attacks on transgenderism."
– Chris Foster ([03:36])
