One of the reasons why he sent this paramilitary occupation into our state, why this level of terror is taking place, why we are seeing the kind of chaos that is ensuing, is because he does want to invoke the Insurrection Act.

The White House says ICE agents are targeting criminals and enforcing immigration laws and that Democrat rhetoric is fueling violent confrontations. The national guard mission in D.C. will apparently be extended until the end of this year. A memo signed by the army secretary and reviewed by the Associated Press says conditions warrant an extension, citing ongoing efforts to restore law and order. Two National Guard troops were shot in D.C. in November, killing one. Defense attorneys for accused Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robertson argue prosecutors should be disqualified after learning a family member of one was in the crowd when Kirk was shot at Utah Valley University. But Utah county prosecutor Ryan McBride hinting at possible ulterior motives for that motion.

There's a lot of case law talks about how it can be a tactic to try and remove cases from one prosecutor's authority to find a more lenient prosecutor, find a more favorable prosecuting authority. That's not going to seek, for example, in this case, the death penalty.

The defense denies it's a tactic and says different prosecutors should represent the state. While the question of a possible conflict of interest is settled, America is listening to FOX News.
