In a truth Social post, the president did not detail the agreement but writes if consummated, it will be a great one for the United States of America and all NATO nations. He also says the breakthrough is enough to hold off on tariffs he had planned to impose on NATO allies because beginning next month. It signals a significant change in tone from the president as his desire for a US Takeover of the Danish territory risk destabilizing the transatlantic alliance.

It's the ultimate long term deal. I think it puts everybody in a really good position, especially he says, for security and minerals, though he told reporters earlier today Greenland was not needed for anything but security. Right now, China controls most of the world's rare earth minerals, which are critical for modern technology.
