Another fatal shooting in Minneapolis. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. A federal agent shot and killed a 37 year old man now identified as Alex Preddy, who lived in Minneapolis. About 1,000 protesters are on the scene and Governor Tim Walls is asking them to stay calm.

Despite the horrific acts by this federal government, Minnesotans are standing up for the rule of law. They're protesting loudly and urgently but peacefully. It must stay that way. Minnesota Minnesotans are witnessing and we're creating a log of evidence for the future prosecution of ICE agents and officials responsible for this.

Homeland Security says that Prudy was armed with a semiautomatic handgun and two mo magazines when he approached border patrol agents. CPP Commander Gregory Bovino told reporters this.

And today's shooting comes about two weeks after an ICE agent shot and killed Renee Goode, sparking daily protests. Nearly half the states trigger emergency responses as a massive winter storm brings heavy snow and crippling ice. New York City could get a foot of snow.
