A deadly mass stabbing attack under investigation in Washington state. The Pierce County Sheriff's Office says five people are dead, including the suspect. Deputies were initially responding to reports that a man was violating a no contact order. When they learned the order wasn't valid because it had not been served on the suspect. They were en route to serve it when they got additional reports he was stabbing people outside a home near Tacoma. America is listening to FOX News.

A lot of the senior tourists we talked to said they got dropped off by vans from their hotel at an event like a monument or a museum, and then the cartel members seized the vans, lit them on fire. So you had a lot of elderly tourists really stuck until the middle of the night hoping for a police escort back to their hotels. A lot of people here been through a lot, eager to get home.

Fox is Steve Harrigan in Puerto Vallarta. A bill aimed at requiring locator systems for aircraft to help prevent mid air collisions fails to pass the U.S. house. It was proposed after last year's deadly crash near D.C. involving a regional jet and an army helicopter. A competing, more comprehensive bill than a different version, which had passed the Senate. President Trump settling a lawsuit with the estate of singer Isaac Hayes over use of the hit song Washington Hold On, I'm Coming without permission during his campaigns.

Isaac Hayes III
The estate filed the copyright infringement lawsuit in August of 2024, alleging the Trump campaign used the song in videos and at campaign events during his 2020 and 2024 presidential bids. The announcement was made by Hayes's son, Isaac Hayes III on X, saying in part, the lawsuit has been mutually resolved and we are satisfied with the outcome. Without disclosing any monetary details, Hayes, who died in 2008, co wrote the song that became a 1966 hit for Soul duo Sam and Dave. Sam Moore, one half of the duo who died last year, was against the lawsuit.
