The evidence team also found a rifle magazine, ammunition in the magazine and a GoPro type camera, among other items. The jurors declined to examine any of the evidence up close. Ruth, who's representing himself, tried to cross examine Agent Rose, asking if the way the scope was attached to the rifle was correct. And she said she was not a firearms expert and couldn't make that call.

Officials in the Central African nation reporting at least 107 people killed, more than 140 missing after a boat caught fire and capsized along the Congo River.
