New data from NORDVPN shows a spike in the number of phony shopping websites popping up during the month of October. The cybersecurity company says it's been an increase of more than 250%. Often, the scammy websites are intending to fool shoppers into thinking they're making use of legitimate e commerce sites such as Amazon and ebay. And the culprits have gotten much better at their phony web design, making them harder to spot.

The complaint, detailed in a letter from the House Committee on Education and Workforce, alleges Berkeley Unified School District staff encouraged walkouts where Jewish students were isolated and that at one students were allegedly chanting kill the Jews. The committee alleging the claims violate students civil rights. Also sending letters to Fairfax County Public Schools in Northern Virginia and the School district of Philadelphia requesting documents from all three districts by December 8th.
