President Trump making that vow after a lone ISIS gunman ambushed and killed three Americans and wounded three others in Syria today. Two of those killed were U.S. soldiers, the other an American civilian. Interpreter the president spoke to reporters at the White House before leaving for the annual Army Navy game. This was an ISIS attack on US And Syria, and again, we mourn the law. Fox's Lucas Tomlinson has more from the White House.

Those American soldiers, according to the Pentagon, were conducting a, quote, key leader engagement. Their mission was in support of ongoing counter ISIS and counterterrorism operations in the region. While the ISIS caliphate was crushed in President Trump's first term. As evidence, ISIS sleeper cells still exist.

And US And Syrian forces returned fire and killed the gunman. Israel says it killed a senior Hamas commander in Gaza today whom it describes as a key architect of the October 7th attack that triggered the war. The IDF' says a commander was killed following an explosion that wounded two IDF soldiers. Hamas condemned the strike as a ceasefire violation, but Israel says it is not because the man was engaged in terrorist activities. A woman is stabbed and injured by another woman at Macy's in New York city.

The Manhattan DA's office says Carrie Ahern is from Massachusetts and has a documented history of mental illness. The suspect told officers she did it because voices inside her head told her to kill someone or she would be killed. This according according to investigators who also say during the summer of 2024, Ahern left Massachusetts in an Uber while on temporary leave from a hospital there. Court documents report that Ahern has no criminal history in New York but was arrested in 2018 in her hometown in Massachusetts for posting on Facebook about killing Senator Elizabeth Warren.
