Vice President Vance will go to Pakistan today. I'm Dave Anthony, FOX News to lead the US Negotiating team in talks with Iran tomorrow, trying to keep what he calls a fragile truce in place. A two week cease fire that stopped the US And Israeli attacks, but Israel's kept attacking Lebanon.

The obstacle is Iranian proxy Hezbollah. Israel has intensified airstrikes into the south of Lebanon, in fact all the way up to Beirut with the intention of disarming Hezbollah, stopping the rocket fire. They claim to have killed 200 Hezbollah operatives. Iran says that's a violation of the ceasefire, but the US And Israel insist Lebanon is not part of the ceasefire.

Fox's Mike Tobin in Tel Aviv also reports Israel has agreed to hold talks with Lebanon.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the goal of the talks is to disarm Hezbollah and to create a historic peace agreement.

President Trump remains critical of NATO posting on Truth Social the alliance does not understand anything unless pressure is placed upon them. He's openly questioned whether the US should be part of NATO, still saying it wasn't there for us in the attempts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz in the Iran conflict. Now the president met with NATO leader Mark Rutte on Wednesday. Yesterday, Ruta spoke at the Reagan Institute.

Kevin Urewetzky, Fox News A sheriff's deputy is being mourned in California after being shot and killed by a gunman who barricaded in a home and then went on the run, even firing at officers refusing to surrender. Fox's Kristin Goodwin has more.

Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreau revealing officers were serving an eviction notice at a home when a suspect opened fire with a high powered rifle. A responding sheriff's deputy was shot and killed.

The suspect is now dead. He was not shot. One of the Bearcats ran over him and killed him.
