Before he left China, the president told Sean Hannity that Xi did offer assistance in ending the conflic, saying China agrees that Iran can never possess a nuclear weapon and that the Strait of Hormuz should reopen. And the president says he got a commitment that China would not give Iran what he called military equipment.

The Trump Xi talks also included trade deals in Taiwan, which the US Supports militarily. But China considers the island its territory, not independent. On the flight back to Washington, the president has posted on Truth Social, something new for D.C. is going to create the National Garden of American Heroes. Calling it a magnificent exhibition of statues featuring founding fathers, military warriors, religious leaders, athletes, entertainers, he wrote it'll be located in a now barren field along the Potomac River, a win for pro choice supporters at the Supreme Court, keeping the abortion pill mifepristone still available for women by mail, keeping a lower court ruling on hold.

That ruling determined an in person visit to a doctor was necessary to receive the medication. The companies asked the Supreme Court to block the lower court's decision and allow patients to receive the pills by mail. Thursday, the high court granted the drug maker's emergency requests while the legal challenge plays out.
