Four thousand police officers, one of the largest British protest deployments in decades is in place for two marches. It's feared violence could erupt if the opposing groups aren't capable kept apart. One is called Unite the Kingdom, a right wing group that attracted a hundred thousand people to their event last September. While many saw an opportunity to peacefully express British identity, there were clashes with police and incidents of anti Muslim hate speech. The annual Nakpa Day pro Palestinian rally will be watched for displays of anti Semitism. Police are promising the highest degree of control. Jonathan Savage, fox news.

The U.S. supreme Court has declined to intervene in a high stakes redistricting dispute in Virginia. It leaves in place a Virginia Supreme Court ruling that invalidated a voter approved congressional map creating four additional Democratic districts. It sought to reduce the GOP's 5 to 6 minority, giving a potential 10:1 advantage to Democrats ahead of the midterms. The 2026 Preakness Stakes is set for this evening. Fox's Tanya J. year marks the 151st running of the Preakness Stakes, the middle jewel of the Triple Crown. It's being held at Laurel park in Baltimore and will feature its biggest field in 15 years. Laurel park is serving as a one year stand in for the historic Pimlico Racecourse which is undergoing a 400 million dollar redevelopment after history was made earlier this month at the Kentucky Derby where the winning trainer was a woman for the first time. A different trainer, Brittany Russell, has the chance to do the same at the Preakness with the horse Taj Mahal. Those hoping for a Triple Crown winner this year are not getting their wish. Kentucky Derby winner Golden Tempo has bowed out of the Preakness in New York. Tanya J.
