And according to Central Command, the measured and deliberate strikes occurred on Saturday and Sunday in response to aggressive Iranian actions that included the shoot down of a US MQ1 drone that was operating international waters. US fighter aircraft swiftly responded by eliminating Iranian air defenses, a ground control station and two one way attack drones that pose clear threats to ships transiting regional waters. And now Kuwait says it's intercepting incoming drone and missile fire. That comes as Iran confirmed it carried out retaliatory strikes today.

It will all work out well in the end. But oil prices are rising back up 4% this morning. Gas is down a penny, however. It's fallen 24 cents since its peak last month in this Iran conflict with AAA's national average for regular now $4.32 per gallon. They got him. A manhunt for the suspect and the killing of a Virginia sheriff's deputy ending with an arrest in North Carolina last night.
