And according to Central Command, the measured and deliberate strikes occurred on Saturday and Sunday in response to aggressive Iranian actions that included the shoot down of a US MQ1 drone that was operating international waters. US fighter aircraft swiftly responded by eliminating Iranian air defenses, a ground control station and two one way attack drones that pose clear threats to ships transiting regional waters. And now Kuwait says it's intercepting incoming drone and missile fire. That comes as Iran confirmed it carried out retaliatory strikes today.

Both of them fired back but they were hit. The deputy who survived after being shot in his protective vest was last reported to be in stable condition. But the community is mourning the loss of 31 year old Deputy Logan Utt.
