Israel, Iran's foreign minister saying again that a deal between the US And Iran will only come when fighting ends in Lebanon as well. So far that hasn't happened with Israel and Hezbollah again. Trading fired. Earlier in the week, Israeli troops moved further into Lebanon than they had in over over the past week, the Israeli Defense force reported striking 650 Hezbollah targets and killing 125 Hezbollah fighters. On Wednesday, Israel and Lebanon agreed to a ceasefire, but Hezbollah, which was not part of the negotiations, has rejected that agreement. Lebanon's president telling CNN that it's unacceptable that Iran is using his country as a bargaining chip in their negotiations with the United States. In Tel Aviv, Max Gordon, Fox News.

California Democrat Javier Becerra has advanced to the general election for governor. This once the primary count is done, either Republican Steve Hilton or Democrat billionaire Tom Steyer will advance as Becerra's challenger under the state's top two vote getter system.

We're told that LA county has about 680,000 ballots remain to be counted, both mailed in and dropped off. Ballots come here. Any ballot postmarked by election Day last Tuesday must be counted. The process, we're told, takes so long in part because each ballot must have its signature verified. And if there's an issue, there's a 10 day period to have it cured. Now the most recent mail in ballot that were processed are favoring Democrats, as many analysts suggested they would.
