President Trump is threatening to impose tolls on the Strait of Hormuz if the final peace deal with Iran isn't reached within 60 days. He says the fees would be for services rendered as the guardian angel to the Middle East. His social media post coming after Tehran claimed it closed the vital waterway because of Israel's ongoing attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon. The IDF says those strikes were in retaliation after the Iran backed group killed an Israeli soldier. The US Military disputes Iran's claims and says the street remains open. Meantime, Vice President J.D. vance arrived in Switzerland for direct talks with Iran. They're aimed at reaching a long term peace agreement and resolving key questions about the future of Iran's nuclear program. The talks will start with an emergency session on Lebanon.

National Park Service workers were using hydrogen peroxide and nanobubble technology to remove algae from the reflecting pool near the Lincoln Memorial last week. Algae left a green haze atop the water and video shows the American flag blue colored sealant used on the bottom of the pool, chipping away in some areas. President Trump has taken a direct role in the revamp, visiting the work site and speaking often of the upgrades totaling about $14 million at the White House. Jared Halpern, Fox News.

Ultimatum & Strait of Hormuz:
President Trump has issued an ultimatum: if a final peace agreement with Iran isn’t reached within 60 days, the U.S. will impose tolls on the Strait of Hormuz. He frames this as “fees for services rendered as the guardian angel to the Middle East.”
Background:
This follows Iranian claims (disputed by U.S. military authorities) that Iran closed the vital waterway due to Israeli strikes on Hezbollah in Lebanon, which in turn were retaliation for Hezbollah (Iran-backed) killing an Israeli soldier.
Vice Presidential Involvement:
Vice President J.D. Vance has arrived in Switzerland to lead direct talks, aiming for a long-term peace agreement and clarity over Iran’s nuclear ambitions. Talks commence with an emergency session on Lebanon.
Sanctions Relief Debate:
Some U.S. lawmakers are lambasting proposed sanctions relief and the unfreezing of billions in Iranian assets.
Economic Sanctions Mechanism:
Financial control expert Scott Bessant is credited with blocking Iranian market access through layered sanctions.
Public Sentiment:
A Fox poll finds over half of Americans doubt Iran will comply with any U.S.-brokered peace deal by halting nuclear weapons development.
Gaza Conflict Update:
Israeli strikes in Gaza, despite an October ceasefire, have killed at least six more and over a thousand this year, per Gaza’s health ministry.
