Why did he do it? I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. That is the question in Lexington, Kentucky, where a gunman opened fire inside a church. Two female victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. The other two victims, both male, were transported to a local hospital and one is in critical condition. Lexington Police Chief Lawrence Weathers says it all started at a traffic stop when the gunman shot and wounded a state trooper who's stable and recovering. And then the suspect carjacked a vehicle in the 3700 block of of Bellawood Drive before fleeing the area and then going to that church where after firing the deadly shots, police killed that gunman, who Weather says may have had a connection to the church. Special US Envoy Keith Kellogg is in Kiev this morning as the US Gets ready to send Patriot missiles and other military aid to Ukraine to help battle Russia's invasion. President Trump will meet with NATO's leader today after telling reporters at Joint Base Andrews.

But a new Senate Homeland Security Committee report blames the Secret Service for a cascade of errors, including communication failures handling security at that Trump rally where a gunman grazed the president's ear but also killed a man in the crowd. Now President Trump's going to go to London in September, invited for a three day state visit that'll be hosted by King Charles, the first president to get a second state visit in the UK America's listening to Fox News.

Wall street stock futures are down more than 100 points for the Dow before today's trading. Coming off slight losses last week at the gas pump, we've seen a decline lately. The somewhat moderately higher oil prices of the past several days will be ending the price cutting on gasoline but may or may not cause a rise. We do have plenty of gasoline on hand even though our demand is not particularly high. Analyst Triple Lindbergh search stations has regular gas down 9 cents the last two weeks to 322 per gallon. Triple A's national average is less at 315 a Colorado Army National Guard members being hailed as a hero awarded the Soldier's Medal. Sergeant First Class Robert Cruz, who has been a guardsman for more than 22 years, was driving home in August of 2023 when he came across a four car accident. One of the cars had rolled over, he told Fox31 in Denver after the medal ceremony.
